The Wait....

Beautiful it was
Every day
As she swayed her curvy body away
A gentle breeze seemed to cross
For love struck couples
Wanting to be lost
In valley of emotion
In feeling’s stream
Speaking of love
Not caprice or whim

Alas! I forgot the world around
That crushed my tender love to the ground
Ignoring requests
Snubbing my pleas
Reminding
I am a mere tree
Born to serve
With my log
With my wood
Giving warmth preparing food

Whatever I am
I don’t want to know
Coz I will be waiting for her
In flowery springs
Or in winter snow
