Twenty Years....

He had walked out for reasons unknown .
Those years of growing up was flavored with the love of a single parent.
She never inquired but an unanswered question dwelt deep in the confines of her mind .

Today ,  lying down on the hospital bed , her memories traversed back to those days of togetherness .
How desperately she wished  him to be with her today .

“ Ma’m …You got a visitor “.

She turned her head slowly , awaiting for her visitor to come along .

Her eyes met His .

A fragile curve adorned her lips filling up the gloom of Twenty  years .

  3. Reunions always make me fuzzy and warm. Glad she got to meet him finally. Wonder why he left in in the first place, though?
