Faith....

A whimsical step by my father pushed us into the dark lanes of extreme poverty .
Surrendering our lives into the clutches of fate that seemed to have seized us in it’s fist .

Those days of hardships made me feel , as if it was a trap for the lifetime .

The starved faces of my family coerced me to agree to every disagreeable proposal even though it demanded me to sell my body .

And just then she appeared , my old headmistress , an unexpected visitor inside our dingy single room , offering me a job at my school and restoring my faith on humanity .
